All 15 books in this series are fantasic, once you pick them up you won't want to put them down until you have read every last one. I recommended them to my husbands younger sister (she is 12) & a very 'reluctant reader'. Upon reading the first one she was hooked & sped through the rest of the series in a matter of weeks.
These books on the whole portray an accurate depiction as what being wiccan is about. There is abviously some artisic license, as what work of fiction would be complete without it. I myself have lived as a practicing witch for 9 years & found the descriptions of the festivals ect to be very accurate.

Wicca-the coven - By: , 25 Aug 2004 This book is about a 17 year old american girl who is told that she is a witch, which means that her parents & their parents & pretty much most of her family for hundreds of thousands of years have been witches. The book starts with her in her coven(a group of people who meet up & practice magic & her coven leader, Cal Blair kisses her. Later in the book Morgan (who the book is told by) realises that her best friend for 12 years Bree hates her because Bree loved Cal but Cal loves Morgan instead. So her friend is reallly horrible to her & there are a lot of reallly funny fights. As her first revenge, Breesends Morgans books that Morgan had been hiding at bree's house & Morgans parents find them & shout at Morgan just the way Bree wanted them to. While Morgan & her parents are arguing about the books it leads Morgan saying that she is a witch & her parents must be to, so her parents say that they are not witches & Morgan finds out that she is adopted & well I won't say much more you reallly have to read it & in this review you can only write 1000 words but I'll say a few things. Morgan meets Hunter Nialll & Sky Eventide & these people become very important characters in the future, & morgan finds her mothers book of shadows a kind of diary at the end of the book in Selenes library you should know if you read this book that the next in the series is blood witch & I will also add warning that if you read one of these books you are hooked & there is no escaping it! the Author Cate Tiernan is an amazing writer & I recomend this series of books to anyone of the age of 10. There are 15 books in the series & they rock!
the coven - By: , 24 Jan 2004 I loved this book. I don't think it was quite as good as the first book but it still left me wanting to know what happend next. I was so hooked into this book that i managed to read it in a few hours.
A second great magick book - By: K. H., 12 Aug 2002 Morgan is a 16 year old teenager, discovering & learning Wicca with others in her coven. In the first book (I reccomend reading that first!!!) She discovers magick, love & danger.
This book shows her journey struggling with her parents as they discover she's a witch ect.
Its a reallly good book, not cliched like Sabrina the Teen witch but real & deep, but with soome laughs & excitement, obviously.
