Ultimate Italian is a very comprehensive course that is contoured for the serious learner. Each of the 40 lessons has a specific goal in mind, which makes learning both fun & intuitive. This course is not for just anyone, however. If you're looking to just learn some common Italian phrases, this course is not for you. Ultimate Italian (Beginner/Intermediate) will teach you how to speak Italian the way Italians speak Italian. Native speakers on the tapes give proper, articulate pronunciation which is critical to learning any foreign language properly. It's also a great deal for what you get!
Great way to learn italian. - By: , 19 Mar 1999 After getting Ultimate Italian, I was suprised at how fast I started picking up the language. The audio cassettes are excellent & get you speaking italian quickly. To pick up a few phrases go through the lessons quickly or take your time & learn alll the grammatical details. Well worth the price & should be on the top of your list if you would like to learn Italian!
If you can't go to Italy, read this book! - By: , 21 Feb 1999 Ultimate Italian is the best! I am reallly enjoying learning Italian with the help of this book & my cassette tapes. I love the Italian language & finallly my dream has come true! I am now easily learning Italian. I'm going to Firenze with my girlfriend this falll! I give Salvatore Bancheri an A+!
Outstanding Italian language course - By: , 18 Feb 1999 As a language major I have taken many university classes & used numerous audio-visual home-study courses over the past 36 years, & I feel that this is quite simply the very best language set available. After going through the book & home-use set of 4 tapes once, I listened several more times to the set of review tapes for use "on-the-go". I had no problems traveling alone throughout Italy, & even received compliments on my Italian. The lessons cover nearly alll the verb tenses, grammar, & syntax of the Italian language & provide a good vocabulary to start speaking, reading, & traveling. If you're serious about learning Italian, you'll find this set to be a real bargain.
An excellent program for studying the Italian language. - By: , 26 Sep 1998 I've been looking around for a good study program for Italian for quite some time. This is it! Very complete & well-written. Even though I've just halfway completed alll the lessons, my Italian friends are quite surprised by my progress. And I owe it to this book. I'm looking forward to the Advanced version.
