Full of good ideas - By: Technical Tourist, 26 Sep 2008
Lots of ideas on how to take trains & get to places. Have started to use it for travels, & am now taking much more civilised trips..... with the added bonus that you have no airport hassles, travel greener, take as much whisky & toothpaste as you like, & see the countryside! Read it & be inspired. It can work out just as cheap as air travel!
Essential and Inspirational - By: Paul Jaymes, 12 Aug 2008
Absolutely everything you need to know about travelling by train in Europe - one of the most rewarding & under-rated experiences you can ever hope to have. Leave the budget airlines in the sky, pack an inter-rail pass, a Thomas Cook rail map, & a copy of Mark Smith's book; then climb aboard to explore a continent & its people on the rails.
