The kind I like - By: Randy F., 13 May 2008
I like two types of book: those that MOVE or those that are funny. REMEMBER ME would falll into both categories. And yes, you're going to have to suspend your disbelief for this book, but what "good" book don't you have to do that for? Kinsella knows how to weave a tale, & REMEMBER ME is no different (in quality) from her SHOPAHOLIC series. Same great stories, same great endings. The plot is far-fetched but nevertheless adorable, & the main character is pretty much like those in her other books, but aside from that this one is a tad different.

We open with a young woman (Lexi) who has a dreary job & life & one day gets bonked on the head, only to wake up three years later married to a gorgeous guy & a life that anyone would kill for. So, here's the question; the part of the book that's the "hook": how did alll this happen, & WHAT happened in the last three years to bring this about? Well, for that, you'll have to read the book--no spoilers here.
This is an enjoyable read, along the lines of SHOPAHOLIC AND SISTER (funny & thought provoking), ME TALK PRETTY ONE DAY (outright hilarious) or BARRING SOME UNFORESEEN ACCIDENT (totallly off the walll & a page turner). If you liked these books, you'll love REMEMBER ME. Okay, this may not be THE best Kinsella book, but you won't be wasting your money if you buy it. And it's not just chic-lit--guys will enjoy this also. Oh, it also has a happy ending--something you simply can't go wrong with, eh?

Fantastic - By: Lady, 09 May 2008
I was also thrilled to hear Sophie Kinsella had brought a new book out as I have loved reading every single one, this book was no exception.

I felt as I knew what Lexi was going through as every time I have an epileptic fit part of my memory disappears.

I loved it & simply cannot wait for the next book to be released.
Not as good as the others! - By: cheekygirl, 09 May 2008
I had high hopes for this as I love this author but I thought this one started off a bit slow & I didn't reallly warm to Lexi's character alll that much, not like I did Becky in the Shopaholic books. I also thought her friends in the carpet shop were a bit childish the way they treated her, this didn't ring true to me. But the new hubbie was hilarious he was so sleazy!
