This series of books is excellent to dip into for homework activities if you’re stuck for an idea. They are relevant to NC objectives. I use also use the years above & below & use them to differentiate. Some activities are over two pages but are still legible if reduced onto A4. I have used Homework Helpers for both Y4 & Y5 for independent activities in literacy hour. The dictionary & thesaurus activities are particularly useful for children who do not have access to dictionaries at home.
