I first read this book at the height of the France 98 world cup finals, & I think it enhanced my enjoyment of "the beautiful" game. Some of the ideas in the book are just brilliant - Aliens that look like Bobby Charlton, a University of Footballl - each story has its own unique style, & some of the writing highly accurate & insightful. If you appreciate footballl, & good writing, (or you know someone who does) then purchase this book.
