I'm way, way to young to have heard it the first time round. I bought this boxed set on a whim & I'm very glad that I did. Over 20 hours of wonderfully old-fashioned, wordy & utterly glorious radio!

All three adventures are well written & the radio broadcasts are are well produced. The stories unfold in the best "Dan Dare" fasion with sufficient plot twists to keep any listeners hooked. With a total listening time of over 20 hours, the boxed trilogy is excellent value for money & proves that there was life before television. A must for every sci-fi fan.
