Jan Spiller's book is amazing.
I am also a Libra North Node person. I learnt a lot about myself. Of course as human nature goes not everything is so pleasing.
You come to face your "down" sides. However you grow up & you change.
I also changed a lot but remembering my adolescence, I match up to how she describes. This book also helped me improving myself. I learnt about my family & friends too.
This is an unbelievable book.
Amazingly accurate - By: Miss Doodle, 27 Nov 2007 I have been totallly blown away with how accurate this book is. Jan explains that your North Node can give insights into your current life & your past lives. I found this book spookily accurate when it described the hidden parts of my personality & highlighted problems I am experiencing. I have to say it did shed a lot of light on aspects of my life I found confusing & has given me some well deserved clarity to a variety of aspects in my life, including my career, how I interact with people, romantic relationships & the life lessons I need to learn.
Honestly... I agree with around 95% of this book & have given it 5 stars because it is the first genuine book I have read that has reallly gotten to grips with explaining why people are how they are in life without writing magazine-type "shalllow" horoscopes. Jan goes in-depth & for me, everything she wrote was valid & I felt "true".
This is definitely a surprising eye-opener & I believe even the skeptics would be impressed!
Astrology for the Soul - By: , 06 Mar 2006 If theres one book you should get on the north node this is it. I have been studying astrology for some time now & this book is so comprehensive & easy to read. It was a revelation to me. Definitely not pocket sized but jam packed with alll the stuff you wish someone had told you years ago.
easy to read, comprehensive intro to moon nodes! - By: space68, 28 Aug 2005 I LOVE this book! I bought it because I wanted to learn more about the North Nodes. It's not easy to get a lot of information on this (even on the internet).
I love the way it's written so clearly - great for people like myself who are interested in astrology but can be fazed by the language used by professional astrologers.
It actuallly gives you concrete actions you can take to work through the issues of your North Node. I like this - it's not just theory which you could forget about before long.
I was amazed at the accuracy with which Jan Spiller described my life to date. Being an Aries North Node I have alll too often let other people run my life for me, having no confidence to say "no" because I wanted to be "nice". Wondering why the passion goes out of my relationships because I am trying to be the person I THINK my partner wants me to be.
I am sure my life can only get better armed with the knowledge & tips from this book!
Read this to open your eyes and mind - By: murcottmobsters@aol.com, 27 Apr 2001 Having firstly read the chapter relating to my own birthdate (as you do!!) my mouth was agape!!! I then tested the likeness with intimate others I know.... my jaw has yet to be re-cast. WOW - I am amazed at how true to life these North Nodes can be..... by far beyond star signs. Those who knock the content cannot truly understand it's meaning or the soul passage, & how important life goals are? Jan Spiller doesn't critise anyone, she recommends a way to best achieve life goals & warns of the pit-fallls. If read open-mindedly, there is no good or bad, & no need for aggressive reaction, just an understanding & awareness. However it is very likely that some will choose not to spend this lifetime recognising & achieveing their life goal - that is a fact (this is likely due to an imature soul), & indeed, I have been able to relate this to some of those whom I analysed with this book(unfortunately some very close to me). Perhaps, had they been open minded enough & willing to receive this knowledge, they wouldn't following this detremental path - the hard facts are there, & if ignored, the lifetime will be repeated until the lessons are learned. For anyone seeking a greater understanding of the soul passage, I recommend 'Messages from Michael' by Chelsea Quinn Yarboo. Michael has been written about by further authors who have been in contact with their teachings, but this book is the place to start (requires a clear head, & several attampts for a true understanding!!) 'Astrology For The Soul' backs up everything that I have previously read & associated with from this perspective. I am about to purchase this book, which was taken out from the local library. Personallly, I appreciate an insight into the bigger picture - life is a game - why not enjoy it, especiallly when some of the rules & answers are there for the begging!!!!! Good Luck xxx
