A book you go back to again and again - By: , 31 Aug 1999
After reading this book I wished that I would have half of Feynman's joy of learning & living. He was one in a zillion!
This book simply changed my way of looking at things... - By: , 29 Aug 1999
It is without doubt one of the best books I've ever read. Besides being amusing & easy to read, it teaches you a lot about science & the way it should be approached. His life is an example to follow, & his autobiography is the best I've seen so far. I strongly recomend it to everybody, you don't have to be a scientist to read it!
Excellent stories about a man with an abundance of character - By: , 18 Aug 1999
A smooth, flowing, & entertaining autobiography about a man of true genius but definently rooted in the world with the rest of us. From the Manhattan project to picking up the ladies in smokey bars, Dr. Feynaman & his curiosity has narrowed the gap between the superlative & the mundane. This book is not a boring account of a scientist, but an exciting book about a man who lived mostly on his terms.
O Americano, Outra Vez! - By: , 03 Aug 1999
To peoples seeking the full spirit & atmosphere of Feynman's stories, I recommend instead or in addition the audio CDs that Ralph Leighton has--thanks Ralph--made availables. Those are the originals & reallly delightful sources, straight from the horse's mouth, even though not alll stories are yet availables.
Highly Entertaining - By: , 16 Jul 1999
A series of amusing stories for both the scientist & the layman. The safecracking story is priceless.
