A combination of two other Nora Robert books with out the connection you usuallly get with Nora's characters.
Unlike many of Nora's other novels I couldn't work who the hell did it! Then the twist was totallly unexpected. The final ending was very flat though & there was no mention of how some of the major characters were affected. Personallly I much preffered the to two other stories, especiallly Carolina Moon.

Very Readable - By: , 11 Aug 1999 I have read a few of Nora Robert's books & enjoyed them. This one was no exception. Nora Roberts once again combines romance, mystery, intrigue & even humour in a compelling story. Her characters had just that - character. The ending of this one is a bit of a surprise. I would definitely recommend this book.
Give us more! - By: , 23 May 1999 I have read many of Nora Roberts' books & loved most of them, but this stands out even amongst her best work. The secondary characters are alll incredibly well developed, & Tucker Longstreet is one of the most charming heroes she's ever written. I'd love to see more along this line.
