The saddle club girls are deligheted when they become part of a riding club formed by Pine Hollow stables.They need to get parents to help but when Caroles father volunteeres to help,she is embarresed & tries to teach him some things.

I have been reading Saddle Club for three years,ever since I was eight. I have grown with them, & this is a clear favourite. Carole is practicallly horrified when her Dad volunteers for the new pony club, & the ending adventure is flooded in suspense, when Samson, a young colt, escapes from the stables.

The main story is about The Saddle Club & their riding stables, Pine Hollow getting their own Pony Club. But that's not alll! This book has alll kinds of adventures - from the spoilt-rich Veronica carelessly putting a young foal's life danger, to Carole (one of the Saddle Club members) feeling angry for her dad becoming a Pony Club helper when he doesn't know the first thing about horses!

I recomend it to any girl who likes horses or animals, & wants a nice but not too long read.
