I'm sorry I read this book so quickly, but I couldn't put it down. Emma, the main character, is fantastic. She is so funny. Her troubles start when, during a bad bout of turbulence on a plane she tells alll her secrets to the man sitting beside her. He turns out to be the big boss of the company she works for, & he knows everything about her! Their romance is lovely. Emma learns that it's okay to be herself, & to be honest. She even starts telling people some home truths, which is well overdue. Jack learns to open up too. The ending is perfect.

Another book, another great review... - By: MK, 21 Apr 2008
Sophie Kinsella is a legend - there is no other description. If you are new to the wonders of Miss Kinsella, this will make you a die-hard fan. Alright, the Shopaholic series is by far her best work but this little delight is nothing short of brilliant. Emma is a typical 20-something girl who wants the great things in life but lacks the confidence to seek them. She works for a global organisation as a marketing assistant along with her boyfriend & together they make the 'perfect couple' ..or do they? On a flight to Glasgow for a business meeting, she expereiences some turbulence & i'm not just talking about the flight. Suddenly she finds her self spilling her entire lifes worth of secrets to a total stranger & thats when Emma's life takes a bumpy ride straight into the arms of Jack Harper. The stranger on the plane? Well not so much a stranger when it turns out he is the founder & owner of that global organisation she works at...

Read it, you'll love it!!
Excellent read - By: G. Hebden, 28 Mar 2008
As a die hard Marian Keyes fan, I have wistfully looked at Sophie Kinsella books on shelves but past them quickly & dutifully, believing there was no way anyone could beat Miss Keyes. I was wrong.... this book is excellent. I found it hard to fault, but gave only 4 stars because one particular situation was quite far fetched (I'm a very harsh critic). But I laughed out loud with this one & read it in one long, guilt-ridden day.
Hilarious book - don't read in public! - By: Hayley B, 24 Feb 2008
I am a great fan of Sophie Kinsella's books, in particular the shopaholic series & was sure that a one off book like this would not be as good. How wrong I was! I read this book over the course of one evening & could not stop laughing, even my husband was amused by the extracts that I read to him. The central character is likeable & someone that the vast majority of people will be able to relate to.

This book is well worth reading & certainly one that you will reread.
