a dramatic conclusion to the barkwater seqeunce,freeglader takes the reader through the treacherous mire,evil shryke battle-flock,dangerous edge lands,and concludes with an amazing battle between the ghosts of screetown,rook, the freeglade lancers & the goblin-nations.a brilliant read!

The story continues from Vox as the undertowners leave their ruined home on a mass exodus to the free glades. But it's a dangerous journey across the edge, & they must avoid sepia storms, escape logworms, & battle shrykes. But when they reach the free glades, their troubles aren't over. The goblin nations are massing for war, & the people must fight for the glades.Freeglader is an absolutely brilliant book, with great battles (and alot of them too!) I loved Freeglader, & if you like this, read The last of the sky pirates, & Vox.

Yet another amazing book in this series. - By: , 09 Aug 2005 This book is simply amazing. I got dragged into the story & just couldnt put the book down. I have read alll the other books in the edge chronicles, they are alll fabulous! It is a good book for older children & young adults. But before you buy this book i would suggest reading the ones before it.
