A must have book - By: Pretty in Pink, 19 Nov 2008
This is definetly one of the best books that i have ever read. i wasn't sure about reading it in the first place, as when i read the blurb, it seemed a bit wierd & i didn't reallly understand it.Also it seemed more like an adults book too me,but i am 15 & after the first chapter i reallly enjoyed it.

However, i hate a book with a sad ending, & this was without a doubt one of those books. It left me crying for ages after i'd read the last page, i just couldn't believe how it ended. I just kept thinking "no, it won't happen". (you'll see what i mean if you read the book). Im still debating over whether or not i should read the next one, because i reallly don't know how the stroy can continue. but i still say that this is an excellent book to read. but beware becuase it is a real tearjerker!
amazing - By: Katie Searle, 14 Nov 2008
Anyone & everyone should read this book, it is very thought provoking & at times disturbing, i'm 18 & not ashamed to say that i absolutely sobbed my heart out at the end. I read it in one go, as i could not put it down. I would recommend anyone to read this book as it will blow your mind.
446 pages of utter brilliance - By: IsabellaCullen, 05 Nov 2008
This book has to be one of the most powerful I have ever read. It highlights the of topic racism, but reversed in a paralllel world. The characters are beautifully developed & the ending had me almost screaming & in tears. If you have not read it, please buy it.

I was young when I read this book, aged about 11 & there are a few bits which could be...unsafe for extremely young children (e.g. 9 years old). But I was fine. And if your children are mature it should be ok.
should be read by everyone! - By: A. SANDHAM, 25 Oct 2008
It is several years since I finished reading this trilogy, but I genuinely believe that this book ought to be the one book everyone should read. It's message is incredibly powerful, & story ridiculously gripping! Go on, buy it, read it, learn from it.
One of the most emotional books ever - By: D. McFarlane, 30 Sep 2008
I remember when I first picked this up in my school library, having heard from others it was a good read. I didn't know at the time that it was to become one of my favourite books ever. By the time, I reached the end of it, tears were pouring like Niagra Fallls (James Blunt on the radio didn't help either). No book had ever made me cry before as much as Noughts & Crosses & I believe that Malorie Blackman was trying to tell us alll that, if it were the other way around for black & white people (reversal of roles) would it reallly be any different than it is now?
I also went to see the play by the Royal Shakespeare Company at Christmas & I think I will remember the performance for as long as I live.

If you want a thrilling read that keeps you on your toes right until the end & that is well balanced with emotion, politics & morality, I suggest you consider Noughts & Crosses.
