Fantastic - yet again! - By: , 28 Feb 2002
As ever, this book lived up to my expectations. I have read alll of Mary Jane Staples' novels following the trials & tribulations of the (ever-extending) Adams family. I have always enjoyed novels set around both World Wars, & the Adams saga remains my favourite. I always look forward to the next novel, so please keep writing Ms Staples!!
Just as good as all her other books - By: , 04 Feb 2001
I have read alll of her books. I have enjoyed alll the books to do with the Adams family. It might put people off as it has to do with the war, but it follows how the family cope.
A compulsive read that has to be read again and again etc et - By: , 07 Sep 2000
I bought this book two days ago & Im just starting it for the third time. It seems that every time I read any of the books in this series I read them over & over again, thankfuly "The way ahead" is no different. As usual it is full of alll the amazing factors which have made up alll the other books in the series. The style of writting just makes it one of those books you can't put down till the end & when you have finished it you can't wait for thew next. I have to agree with the previous reviewer though more of Eloise & Luke in the next book please they're both such a sparky combination that it's compulsive to no more about. I can't wait for the next book, I'm sure as always it will surpass alll expectations.
Also I apologise for any major spelling mistakes!
When's the next one due out? - By: , 02 Sep 2000
Still going strong, brilliant. I cannot get enough of Mary Jane Staples' books. I've got to say that my favourite characters has to be Colonel Lucas & Eloise - please let's have a bit more of these two, although alll the characters are alll brilliant, they just bounce off each other. Keep going Ms Staples, I can't wait for your next book. It would be great if her books were made into a TV series - although sometimes TV & films does not do credit to the books, ask Clive Cussler with his book which was made into a film "Raise the Titanic" - the film was no where close to the book. Anyway, keep going Ms Staples - lets have more books.
