A book for every true romantic - By: J. Stone, 21 Sep 2007
I picked this book up in a rush at an airport on my my to Bulgaria. I had bever heard of Judith Mcnaught let alone every read anything she had created & I say created because that is what I felt she had done for me. She created a scene, a land of our ancestors & I just fell in love with it. I just could not put it down - much to the annoyance of my family! The story, the characters - the passion, I loved it to bits & up until that time I have never in my life read a book twice, I count A Kingdon of Dreams as a third time read & I am still counting. I am totallly hooked on McNaught. If you love romance & particularly medieval romance do yourself a favour & purchase this bit of escapism.

A wonderful surprise - By: H. Wallace, 09 Jul 2006
When I purchased this book, I wasn't totallly sure I'd enjoy it, but I ended up reading it from cover to cover in one sitting!

Royce Westmoreland is definately my Knight in Shining Armor! He is truly, breathtakingly wonderful! Some heroes in other Romance novels don't realize the meanifulness & love (and "blessed" upheaval)that the heroines bring to their lives until the very end of the novel, but Royce realises & cherishes Jenny's uniqueness, her wit, subtle niavete, & also her unconventional beauty for very early on in the novel.

Jenny is a woman that every woman can relate to. She's humble, kind, stands up for what she believes in, is terribly ingenious & has a quick fire wit that is laugh out loud funny! She's also a little bit insecure, trying with alll her might to gain approval, something that we alll seek in our lives. She definately deserves a Kingdom of Dreams.

Though misunderstandings threaten to tear them apart, they cannot help their feelings for each other, leading to a touching climax that will have you reaching for the tissues, trust me on this!

Thank you, Ms. McNaught for this wonderful world - this Kingdom of Dreams!
This book was my introduction to romance novels... - By: , 13 May 2005
and still my very favourite. I've read it over & over again.
There is just something so easy about it - the characters work so well together - he has the right amount of heroic, dark, angry charm without becomming arrogant & macho & she has the right amount of strength of character & feminine weaknesses to make her loveable.
Being a medievalist - i do have to say that factuallly it's a bit ropey BUT you know what - who cares............. it's a fab read
"God's Teeth" Absolutely Brilliant!!! - By: , 07 Apr 2005
Historical Romance with lots of humour, where you'll falll in love with the secondary characters as much as with the leads!

I won't describe the story, as that has already been done in the reviews below, however I will provide my recommendations, & highly encourage you to go out & purchase this book!

Aunt Elinor (bless her!) was so lovable & humorous! & when put with Arik! (Royce's protector) well...I almost pi$$ed my pants!

I shalll certainly be reading more by this author!

Happy Reading! :0)
