Life's missing instruction manual - By: Marilyn Bennett, 10 Sep 2007
Brilliant. As you read you may be tempted to say that it is alll too simplistic & full of commonsense so what is the point. But, you see, that is the whole point. Most of it is common sense & we overlook that in trying to look for something that is complicated. If anything this should make you alll realise that you have the answers for your life. The book should make you laugh & be happy. You are special & you now know it. Rejoice in your own specialness. The next book to come out will be yours. Joe Vitale is not doing anything that you cannot do.
A mix of maxims in a manual for living - By: Rolf Dobelli, 24 Jul 2006
Joe Vitale's life manual is packed with his highly personal brand of new-age wizardry & inscrutable passages from other modern day self-help philosophers. With aphorisms, maxims & fables on ideas & subjects ranging from sex, food & forgiveness to personal finance, taxes, purpose in life & how to handle death, he proffers a broad, mixed bag of advice - some he wrote & some he anthologizes - with a touch of humor & a dash of preachiness. Rather than presenting a singular world view or moral system, Vitale combs popular self-help best sellers, consults some sweeping religious concepts, & synthesizes their teachings with his own insight. The resulting book is at times quite sharp & smart, & at times simplistic & sentimental. We recommend it to those who are seeking meaning in their lives & peace in their relationships. Vitale offers enough diverse insights, both familiar & fresh, that some of them are bound to apply - if only to spur your thinking.
We all knew these instructions....but forgot - By: , 28 Mar 2006
Great book. We actuallly reallly already know these instructions. It is a great summary, also referenced to & written by other authors/speakers/coaches. The key to it alll is the follow through, reallly doing the instructions given. The action. This is with alll 'these books', but this one strikes me as simple yet profound. I started yesterday, & things are shifting by taking smalll action steps. Read it over & over...there is always something you have not mastered, tried or completed.
