Disappointed - By: , 08 Apr 2004
I read this book hoping it would give me clear direction as to how to improve.
Unfortunately, the selection of the multi-choice options were too obvious for my test to be accurate - ie If doing the "Are you Sensual" test, it became obvious that alll options 1 of the 3 options (YES, DON'T KNOW AND NO) would give you maximum marks.
The option "Don't Know" is a superfluous one in many instances. eg do you bet on horses regularly (in the "Are you Optimistic Test"). You either do or you don't.
This was irritating.
Poor book badly designed.
This is fun, but a complete waste of time - By: , 22 Nov 2003
I purchased this book at the airport hoping to pass the many long hours on a plane by delving deep into my personality & learning new things about my behavioural patterns & what made me tick. As it turned out, alll I learned was that I only had the patience to do 4 or 5 tests before becoming irritated at the book.

I found the test topics to be of interest & also found that doing the test itself was a fun process. It is therefore unfortunate that each of the tests leaves the reader wanting for more, giving only a basic outline of what their score means as pertains to their character, personality, intelligence, or whatever topic is in question. After doing 4 or 5 tests I decided that reading my horoscope gives me a better reflection of my character & I was wasting my time going further.

If you are thinking of buying this book as a bit of fun .... don't.

not as good as most pyschometric books - By: , 23 Nov 2002
I was reallly looking forward to completing these tests to find out what type of career i would be best suited to. But i was quite disappointed. Although the book is crammed full of tests, they were not the type of tests that i expected. Such tests as 'are you anxious or relaxed?' & 'are you honourable?' .I expected some information about how well i had done & what to do next, but alll you get is a score, no information or suggestions as to what this means in terms of your possible potential in a given area. There was no information at the end of the tests to tell me what type of career i could reach my full potential in. This book is more for fun than for people who are serious about wanting to do psychometric tests to find out what career or job they would be best suited to. Overalll i found this book disapointing & somewhat misleading as to what it offered.
Best Results with Good Preparation - By: , 24 Jan 2002
Thank to this book, I was well prepared for my aptitude tests, hence I was able to do well on the tests. The book provided me with the calmness & understanding speed, that are the key ingredient for success on any psychometric test.

I scored very high in alll my tests & I got many job offers. Thus, it is my conclusion that this book will provide any job seeker with the best investment towards their future career. I highly recommend this book & will even buy it for friends as a gift.
