Well, the number of pages was impressive. But once you start looking into the book, you'll quickly notice that it is alll about Acrobat 8 on Mac OS X. And even that isn't reallly complete.

90% of the users have Windows, so skipping these users completely & making them just a footnote is certainly a disservice. But even if you are a Mac user & don't care about Acrobat 8 on Windows. Authoring of multimedia doesn't work on Mac OS X & the author doesn't even care about it. It was neither tested nor mentioned.

Shared Reviews are new in Acrobat 8 Professional, but apparently there was no time to test the software thoroughly before finishing the book. If he had done so, he would have certainly noticed that this is new & different from the previous version.

To put it in a nutshell, it is very frustrating to have purchased this book.
