Confidence is one of the most important skills to possess - By: Michael Winslow, 30 Jul 2007
Without confidence we will be unable to maximise personal & professional performance & this book makes a very significant contribtion to this area of personal development. Unfortunately we alll suffer from a lack of confidence at some time or other in our lives & usuallly due to circumstances that are completely outside our control! Building Confidence for Dummies provides a set of tools & techniques to get you back on track. I often pick it up & just notice what attracts me at any particular time & I then work on a specific area. The book is set out in a way that the reader can either browse or focus on a particular aspect which they feel may need attention at any moment in time. This book is a must for anyone who wants to make a difference in the world & achieve their full potential.

Confidence revisited - By: Scott Pender, 14 Jun 2007
Somehow I managed to pluck the confidence to leave a successful 12 year career to chase a dream & go back to school with people half my age. When I got there I found out that a 22 year lay off from study made things a tad more challlenging than I had envisioned. My confidence soon reached rock bottom & I was left picking up the pieces? Then I picked up "Building Self-Confidence for Dummies" in a bookstore & within 5 minutes of reading I purchased it. It got me right back on track with simple easy to follow step by step advice. Shortly afterwards I got straight A's for the first time in my life.
