Mind Blowing - By: , 14 Feb 2006
There is no way to describe this book until you have read it. It opens you up, it makes you remember & it sets you on a new path. Reading this book has changed my life. Sounds absolutley ridiculous but its true. Better than any spiritual book or self help book I have ever read this book helps you without you even realising that it is happening as it is so gripping. I am now hooked I am on the tenth insight & just bought the next. Recommended it to alll of my friends BUY IT!!!
Amazing start to any Spiritual journey - By: Saoirse-Neoibh, 20 Jan 2004
This book is an ABSOLUTE MUST for anyone starting their spiritual journey. It is helpful & handy for others who have already started & perhaps need reminded of the simple truths that run through the centre of every ancient religion. A wonderful easy read, spoon-feeding universal truths of epic proportion. a MUST HAVE book!!
truest book of all - By: , 02 Jun 2003
Where this is only a translation-interpretation of the tao, it is the best suited to my understanding of english. compare different translations of the first page & you can pick the one suited to you. Once found the power of this book will not evade you, because Brian Walker manages to translate the simple truths into as simple as possible, & in my mind highly legible interpretation of Lao Tsu's work. The I Ching & Hua Hu Ching are also highly recommendable.
A shockingly profound and beautiful book. - By: , 23 Dec 1999
A swift, tightly told tale of adventure in South America, "The Celestine Prophecy" also calmly states the nine fundamental truths about life, the universe & our role in it. Inspirational & uplifting, it will stun alll those who read it - & then reassure them that there is hope for mankind.
Everyone should read this book - By: , 17 Dec 1999
This can be read as just a travellers tale but is so much more. Very thought provoking the kind of book that makes you try to get your best friends to read it as its important to you that they do.You tend to buy a spare copy to lend though as you need to have one kicking around for when you want to read it again in the future. The clever part is that it can be read at the very least as a good travellers tale in South America or at different levels alll the way to an almost paralllel bible albeit perhaps a budhist equivalent. Just read it!
