Awful! Typical stereotypical plot - By: Kempie666, 28 Dec 2006
The book has a good aim - to show that sometimes real-life & "fantasy" can coincide. However, the style of composition fallls into the usual stereotypical routes - alll the men are so gorgeous they burn your eyes by looking at them, sex is frequent & earth-shatteringly glorious everytime, without fail or exception; the characters are successful & self-made or rich & universallly recognised. This book has a "top-chef" who has three fabulous restaurants & a fourth on the way, a top-fashion designer with a harpy mother who adores him & loathes alll boyfriends except the one who died! Please! I gave up without finishing the book, as the composition was so poor. The concept is great, the plot was so-so (neither bad nor good, simple yet, unfocused), the actual finished article left so much to be desired however, that the overalll effect leaves one feeling somehow "used" by reading it.

Not a good read.
