The book is an excellent summary of the lives & actions of Kohlberg, Kravis & Roberts & the entire KKR group including how they started, what they thought & how they were as people, & ultimately what they did & how they did it. Because it is written in a very journalistic style, it is easy to read & highly entertaining as well. It avoids the detailed finance but provides real insight into the dynamics of this success story.
