A Good Detective Story - By: , 19 Jun 2005
This book starts just just before Bruce Wayne first goes on the streets as Batman, why? I am not sure. It barely touches on it & gets straight in to the story at hand.
The story starts with Bruce being in Alaska, he loses his supplies & passes out. He then wakes up in the care of a smalll tribe, who saved him with the help of healing myth / ritual about how the bat got its abilty to fly. Bruce returns to Gotham to find some strange happenings involving strange cult human sacrifices. The story is unpredictable & that's what keeps it interesting.
While it doesn't leave you with a greater sense of any of the characters, it's an enjoyable read if you take it for what it is; a good detective mystery story.
