A useful quick reference point.- By: , 23 Jun 2001 This book is one of the increasing variants of the ICD10, or at least that section, namely F1-100 that relates to psychiatry. Smalller than its big brother & easier to carry around, it is useful for quick reference for the ICD10 numbers & to ensure patients meet criteria for diagnosis. If you need to learn the ICD10 for MRCPsych it is less useful as it misses out the wider discussion of diagnosis found in the main book, & doesn't reallly cover what you will need for the exam.It is best considered as a ward book & for those doing research, as it also carries the criteria necessary for diagnosis in the stricter research field. It is a useful book but not essential, & if you already have the original this will be superfluous.
