Just weird! - By: S. A. Lawrance, 18 Jun 2008
Ok, so it's got mirrors, but so have half the baby books on the market. It has no story or narrative, just a series of introductions to random characters with strange names. Why is the sun callled Webster? Why does the cow not have a name?! My baby & I are not impressed!
Mirror quality causes problems - By: C. Temple, 17 Jan 2008

I purchased a variety of books for my 2 month old son, & I was very dissapointed with this one. The mirrors are alll distorted because they are very thin-material mirrors, & looking at them gives me an instant headache. My wife looked at the book & also got an unpleasant feeling when looking at the mirrors. We therefore are consigning the book to the dustbin & not letting our son look at it.

I would also be a bit wary of what a baby can actuallly learn by looking into such a distorted mirror. It might be funny when he is older to look at his face alll messed up when he knows what his face should look like, but at a young age when he is learning what his face looks like it would seem to just confuse the child.

I would recommend to people looking for books to catch their children's interest to go for Faces (Baby's Very First Book) instead (plus that also has a similar mirror on the front page if you reallly want to show your child a distorted reflection of his face).

My 10 month old's favourite book - By: Ms. J. V. Smith, 26 Nov 2007
The main appeal of this book is that there is a mirror on each page. My baby loves to look at himself in the mirror and, at the correct angle, can see me in the mirror doing the faces the book describes. A great buy.
Loved by the baby - By: A. Leamy, 23 Jun 2006
The baby loved it, but I can see no reason for the "Cow puffs his cheeks full of air." Every time I read that page I get irritated. Surely a company callling themselves "Baby Einstein" could get that right?
9 month old loves it - By: Jess, 15 Sep 2005
My 9 month old daughter loves this book & pulls it off the bookshelf for me when we are having a reading session. She gets very excited & laughs the whole way through. I'm reallly glad I bought it!
