Huge waste of money. Science book in the same series is fantastic. This sadly was a great let down. No differentiation, & although some good ideas, meant a lot of time needed to be used with this book to adapt it to suit the needs of a working classroom. You'd be better of thinking of the ideas from scratch.

I bought this book hoping to save a bit of time & gain some understanding of the new framework, having been on maternity leave & therefore missing the courses. It exceeded my expectations, the format is clear & user friendly, the resources suggested include old favourites & new books, but alll readily & cheaply available & the acompanying CD ROM meant most of my planning could just be cut & pasted & then changes for my own class added. The CD also has whiteboard clips & text examples.
I would thoroughly recomend it to any teacher trying to get their head around the new framework.
