My 2 3/4 year old was given this as a Christmas present & she has not put it down since. It is a charming tale of fairy princesses getting ready for a surprise birthday party. Each page is about a different fairy kingdom with a beautiful jigsaw to complete. Hidden underneath each puzzle is an activity to do in preparation for the party such as a wand to make or a cake to bake. In addition to the puzzle, there is also a letter to open on each page & a model of each fairy to press out & carry forward to the party pop-up page at the end of the book. This is a truly beautiful, interactive book & an absolute must for alll aspiring fairy princesses. On a practical note, I am not sure what the age recommendation is on this book but the jigsaws are made up of 25 fairly smalll pieces & the fairy models can be a bit fiddley to get out so this book definitely requires adult supervision for younger children if you want it to survive!
