Bought this when I was studying for my DPP four years ago, now I'm half-way through my degree & I'm still using it!! It has proved itself time & again as a provider of good quotes & as a starting point for further research. Written in clear language it's an easy read. If you are studying at level 2-3 level, 'buy it' as when you progress to 4-5 or even further you will still be using it! You wont be wasting you ££££'s.

I found this book reallly helpful in my first year studying a level 3 CACHE DCE. It works alongside the assignment modules & is easy to understand.
I haven't reallly used it my second year but without it in my first the course would have been a lot more challlenging. It was handy having my own copy at home to refer to as i couldn't carry it around as a library book, its far too heavy for that!
Diploma in Child Care and Education - By: , 21 Sep 2005 This is a excellent book just got one as iv just started my course for the diploma,its going to be very usefull,its full of information thats important for the course & has 11 units the same as the course,well worth it as i shalll be using it for the next two years,;)
Excellent book - By: , 30 Jul 2005 I used this book whilst doing NVQ level 3 in Early Years Care & Development, & it was excellent- I used it more than I used the text book! I highly recommend it.
Diploma in Child Care and Education: Student Book (Heinemann - By: , 09 Oct 2004 A GREAT book for anyone doing Child Care especiallly those doing CACHE Dip in Child Care & Education as this was my bible to get through the course. I am now training to be a children's nurse & still this book is very useful for me especiallly the section on theorists! Deffinatly well worth the money!
