I sat my exam in Summer 2006 & got grade A, close to A*. This book helped as a revision notes book, summarising alll the facts for each topic, with practice questions as well. Gives only the detail you need to know, but can help you acheive a good grade.

I'm due to sit my history GCSE in about a month. Although I haven't sat it yet & got my mark this book has been a huge help. Its very easy to understand yet covers more than my normal textbook. It has helped me make excellent revison notes & thanks to this book I'm confident of at least an A grade or above. Definately buy it...

I have this book it was a major help for my GCSE's! I reallly found it interesting & easy to work through.

1 more final point.. I was lucky enough to have Barry Doherty as my teacher 2 years ago.. which I shalll never forget how good he was... Thanks alot!

Doherty has written the best revision book I've found so far. I'm doing my AS-Levels now & I am using his book to clarify everything I should have learned & understood at GCSE. My sister is doing the GCSE now & she is finding the book reallly useful to help clarify alll the key points she needs to understand & at last knows what Marxism is! I had hoped the book would be more colourful but I suppose that's why its so cheap.

Get this book if you want to do well in your exams!
