Rather than giving one, often biased voice, it presents different views on various aspects of bilingualism by reprinting alll the classics in bilingualism research. I don't need to do alll the photocopying any more, nor do I need to run up & down different parts of the library to find alll the journals on linguistics, psychology, sociology, & education to find the articles on bilingualism. The methodology chapter by the editor is a 'must read'. You will see things very differently after reading this. The resource list is also extremely useful. So buy this, to save your time & money.
