Extremely long-winded book which covers more or less everything theoretical in literacy & language. There is a lot of material here to try & take in & most if it just goes straight over your head whilst reading it. However there is still a sizeable chunk of decent information that you can put to good use when planning out the Literacy Hour.

If you can read this book fully & take it alll in, then it would be an excellent book. But its too hard to read for my liking.
