Healthy ways to make great meals that will please all - By: , 30 Aug 1999
Our family has been using the recipes in this book for over a year now & we have not eaten anything that we didn't like. We have used these recipes for daily meals, potlucks, holidays, when the "gang" drops over, you name it. Everyone has gobbled every last bite up. Also, my husband's blood pressure has improved due to losing 10 pounds & keeping it off. I have also lost 10 pounds. May not sound like much but we'd rather lose it & not feel deprived than gain it & gorge ourselves with saturated fat.
Recipies are fantastic - By: , 12 Aug 1999
Recieved the book as a gift from my mom. Have yet to find one recipie to be bad. I am on a Low fat, cholesterol, & sugar diet. The flavor of these recipies would fool anyone that didn't know they were healthy for them.
What a great cookbook. I have them ALL!!! - By: , 29 Jul 1999
First let me say that I am an avid fan of JoAnna Lund. She has made it so much easier to have a healthier lifestyle by giving us such great cookbooks. Her recipes are easy to make, taste great, & are low fat, low/no sugar, & are definitely family pleasers.

My husband loves these recipes too. In fact, we like her recipes so much that I have personallly purchased alll of her cookbooks.

Whether you just want to eat healhier, or need to watch your fat or sugar intake you can use ALL of these recipes. Every single recipe has the nutritional value, Healthy Exchanges breakdown (JoAnna's plan), & Diabetic Exchanges. If you are following the Weight Watchers plan, you will be able to convert each recipe into points without a problem.

This cookbook shows just how easy it is to eat REAL FOOD not rabbit food to be healthy. Recipes work well too for those wanting to drop a few pounds. JoAnna's Healthy Exchange program is explained in the front of the book.

I know if you try just one of her books, you will be hooked & want more.

Good variety but meals fall short - By: , 06 Jul 1999
I tried at least a dozen recipes from the book. After each meal we found ourselves saying 'That was okay, but it would be good if ...'. The book has a nice variety of recipes, but there are many other cookbooks out there that leave you saying 'wow' not 'maybe next time'.
Easy and OOOooohhh It's so Good!!! - By: , 12 May 1999
A friend of mine had me taste the Raspberry Pear cheese cake & I have been hooked ever since. It is alll true!! You CAN cook low fat, low calorie GREAT tasting meals that EVERYONE will love & NOT feel guilty about having dessert.

I was so glad to read that the goal is Healthy AND Tastes Great!! You don't have to compromise the taste any longer. I was surprised at the ease of most of the recipies. I am not only cooking healthier, but faster too!

I reallly like to cook, but have never found a good healthy minded cookbook that could satisfy my tastebuds. Well I must say that I have found my Pot O' Gold at the end of the rainbow.

No. THEY havn't given up french fries, & in moderation... they won't have to.

I would only make a dessert on a rare occasion, knowing the calories & fat we just didn't need. Now I make dessert almost every night. He keeps asking me, "Is this reallly healthy stuff?" I keep hearing "You can make that again!"

I couldn't be happier. I have lost 10 pounds in the last 4 weeks.

I'm even experimenting with the recipies & making new flavorful variations. Cooking is fun again & rewarding in knowing that I am doing something good for the family.
