If you have a child or teach a child you need this book. We can't just assume that kids will grow up happy & this book shows how parents & teachers can assess what is bothering a child & learn ways of interacting that helps them. Kids need to learn how to "think about their thinking" & learn to think more optimisticallly. Parents (and schools) have the job of helping them & I suggest that this book is an excellent starting point.
