I first read this book as a 15 year old & I'm now 31, but every so often I have to read it again because it is one of the most beautiful pieces of writing I know. It sensitively deals with a heartbreaking subject in a way which teenagers can relate to & understand. I have to rate it as one of my top 5.
The story is very nice - By: , 04 Sep 1999 I just went to the library & I was looking for a book because we need it in class & as I was checking out tittles I got interested in the little summary at the back & so I decided to read it & it is so facinating I reallly loved the story !
THIS BOOK IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I'VE EVER READ!!!! - By: , 13 Jul 1999 I had to read something for school to get a grade & I went to the school library & seen this book. It didn't look that long so I got it thinking that I wouldn't have to sit through it long, but once I began reading it I just couldn't put it down. It was so good! It was sad but it also made you think about life & your attitude towards it. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants something good to read!
WONDERFUL FEELING OF SADNESS AND BRAVERY - By: , 24 Apr 1999 Poor Meg's sister Molly who was popular & beautiful is dying. With a help of Meg's friends Will, Ben & Maria, also with the love of her parents Meg pulls herself together & prepares for Molly's death, & tries to be brave how Molly is. A very sad story, though it had a bit of humor here & there. I especiallly liked Maria, who was pregnant, also very cheerful & brave. A very heart-warming story. If you like this one, you will love "The Giver" by Lois Lowry as I did.
Best book I will ever read!! - By: , 20 Apr 1999 I thought this book was truly spectacular because of the amount of details used. There weren't too many & there weren't too little. I seriously could not put the book down. I read 3/4 of the book in 1 1/2 hours. Also it explains what could happen in real life. I was truly amazed by this book!
