silly - By: , 04 Jul 1999
Is anyone beside me getting tired of the McGregors? I don't mind books about other family members but story after story after story about the same family members & now a re-issue of the beginning of the same family is a bit much. I feel this is just a money-grubbing effort that takes very little work on the author's part. I like The Reef & I just finished River's End so I am a fan of Nora Roberts but I will not buy anything more that says anything about the McGregors.
Loved it, although wish there was more of it... - By: , 23 Jun 1999
I definitely wished there was more to this book, on alll three men. I reallly loved the story of D.C. & Layna. The one thing I do like about this book is that it is split into three separate stories. But I do feel Nora Roberts could have done more with this story.
Great easy reading romance - By: , 10 May 1999
I loved this book & have since continued on reading alll of the MacGregor books.
Is she spending too much time with her alter ego Robb? - By: , 28 Mar 1999
I like Nora Roberts, I reallly do. I have alll of her books - but this one & the Mcgregor Brides - I donated to charity. I think the problem is she has written so very many fine novels, that her loyal fans, anticipate more from her than those who are reading her for the first time. She needs to go back & rework these (and send us alll free copies). Also the Mcgregor Bride doll is an insult to alll who have truly read this series - it doesn't even look like one of the fiesty Mcgregor women!
Grooming Disaster! - By: , 25 Mar 1999
The lights are on but no one is at home! That was my first reaction after I finished reading the book. Nora Roberts is a fine writer who does somethings to please her editors & bank balance that just doesn't sit right with me. If she honestly feels she did a good job with this poor apology of a book; she needs to go back to Romance101. I have read better books by worse writers!
