Not so useful - By: Annie Melis, 07 Nov 2007
My friend mentioned this book & gave me a copy; I was very excited to read it but unfortunately as I turned every page I expected more. All the questions are indeed common things we may wonder about however the answers are for the most part very broad, & quite useless. The examples used are often unrealistic & wouldn't be encountered in every day life. So overalll it was a good laugh as the author puts a funny twist in her writing, but not useful as I did not learn anything new at alll about men.
One Delightful Delicacy - By: Hungry Reader, 24 Sep 2007
This book is like a good box of your favourite brand of chocolates. This is because if I were to sum it up in one term I would describe it as: MORE-ISH! And then some!

Honestly, it is such a wonderful compendium of commonly experienced relationship dilemmas that at the end of each problem's allloted analysis, you are left wanting to read just one more...and then just one more again...and again...until you find yourself completely absorbed in it's glorious logic! All in alll, a fantastic book!

So if you reallly want to maximise your chances of understanding your man, then arming yourself with The Man Manual is surely the ultimate resource you cannot do without!
A Pile of Pap - By: Melissa, 24 Jan 2006
This book, which reads like it's just been pumped out to please some over-eager publisher simply undermines public confidence in the profession of counselling psychology. It has nothing of substance to recommend it & frankly is an embarrassment to be seen reading. So don't. You'd be better off asking your hair-stylist.
Same old advice rehashed - By: , 17 Aug 2005
Sorry but I expected more from this book. Unfortunately you'll be sorely let down if you're expecting to learn something useful about men. What you get is rehashed "advice" from alll the other selfhelp books out there. You'd expect an author of many books to come up with something new for male female relationships. What you get are some questions & answers that amount to little more than common sense. Don't spend the money, instead speak to your freinds. They'll be more helpful.
