I just finished this book & immediately read it again. its brilliant & i read it twice in just under a day even thought it is of moderatre length.
The plot is realistic & believable with things that actuallly happen & not some made up baddies like other books (the baddies in this case being drugs) such as stormbreakers deadly v8irus? come on!

We went on holiday & I just sat in the hotel room reading on & on.If YOU want to know if this book is as good as the first CHERUB my absolute answer is YES!!!
Once again James ( young agent ) gives an exciting adventure to read.

I would recommend this book to people above the age of 12 as some sections may be unsuitabal for people below this age. Well worth the asking price & well worth a read. suited to adults & children alike. overalll a fantastic book thats well worth reading.
perfect gift - By: Julie BTW, 19 Oct 2007 I was struggling to find a gift for a 13 year old boy, but I knew he enjoyed the Alex Rider (Horowitz), Hover Car Racer (Reilly), & Tomorrow (Marsden) series of books. I read the Amazon reviews & noticed the 'yes it won an award' sticker & ordered the first two in the CHERUB series. I always read the books I give away (judge me as you will :-) ), & even though I think the target group is miles away from a 38 year old woman; I couldn't put this book down. It wiped out my Saturday, & alll my other plans were cancelled. Wow! What a great read. The plot moves very fast, is completely action packed, & totallly believable. I think I am sorted for this kid's Christmas presents too; the next few in this series!
