The book has been the most useful of alll the stuff I bought when the decision was made to move to France. (This book was bought at Waterstone's at Bluewater - the other stuff - a bit less useful - was bought through Amazon) It sorted out a number of things I half-understood from school (sub "O" level), holidays -usuallly camping, sometimes hotels, work trips where no real French was spoken & living in France for seven months.

It was hard work for me as an averagely bright 58 year old. French neighnours have said my French has improved
