I thought the book was good, a bit predictable but I think that is
just the style in which she writes, however, still enjoyable. What I did not like was the ending - I don't know if it is supposed to keep you guessing if so, it was not done well as there was too much to guess. Were Tony & Eddie planning to kill Avril first, had they killed Leonard at the Club beforehand, had they killed Jenna & Vibes, or what?!! I take it that they were the men who were imposing the FBI agents & that they killed them,as Tony & Eddie were supossed to be dead, but nothing was given, even a vague outline, you had to guess it alll. A reallly disappointing ending to a good book. I love Martina Cole & I think Mandasue writes well too.

I bought this book on the day it come out & i have to say i was disappointed i wated my money! People say she writes like martina cole but i am a huge martina cole fan myself & im sorry to say mandasue lacks the umph & suspense that mkartina holds on you! I can honestly say this book is just a load of writing but about nothing! theres no real story to it, theres a massive build up but them no combustion & I just though to myself "what a load of codswalllop"! mandasues first books she wrote are good reads but her later books have alll been disappointed like shafted for example! i would recommend tainted lives & forget me not but no others!

Reallly enjoyed this one - the way that Heller writes is pretty much the same as Martina Cole which is why i read it! Will look forward to reading more of Heller's.....

I like Mandasue & give her praise for giving Martina fans an alternative read, this was easy reading & a bit predictible but i still enjoyed it.
a bit of a let down - By: alice blue, 09 Aug 2007 I reallly love Mandasue's books I have read alll of them & loved them alll but 'The Club' was a let down it was fairly boring with not much happening for the 1st half of the book it only started getting reallly good about 4 chapters away from the end, then the end of book was reallly confusing ( i won't spoil it for those of you looking to read it) I reallly can't wait for the next one out in Sept she is a great writer i just didn't like this one
