I fist came upon this title many years ago, & although I went on to search for more clarity & understanding, this was the first spiritual book I ever read that actuallly resonated & brought me some of the answers I was looking for. Compared to the likes of `A Course in Miracles' & `The Eternal Validity of the Soul' the concept is fairly simple, but for me I believe this is its strength. Some might think that in parts the book doesn't go deep enough or may feel it is a little sugar coated, but if nothing more it is genuine in both heart & intention. If your life is beginning to lack direction or purpose & a little light is alll you are seeking then I cannot think of a better place to start as it will provide you with many answers.

This was my first ever Diana Cooper book, i was searching for answers & this book held them alll! It does a brilliant job of introducing you to the spiritual side of this world. This book got me hooked & so interested in angels. Diana Cooper writes in such a way that you a dragged into the book & wonder how you never read it before! Would recommend it! Everyone i have leant this book to as a beginner has got hooked also & bought many of her books!I bought this book at a very low time in my life & definatly helped me move through it!
wonderful as always - By: cartoon, 13 May 2008 Wonderful as always. Diana Cooper never lets you down. This book is easy to read & illuminating. I intend to read it over & over but as there are so many other books by her that I have not read I may never get the time.
power of the light within - By: irene lamb, 05 Oct 2007 if you want answers this is the one for those who want to know about the spirit world we are the light [this is amazing cant stop reading gives you so much what we already know but we dont listen, i bought this with ;the callling of your true self;another spititual book with a medium who has knowlege these two books are wrote from experence of the spirit world these will open your eyes, & help you connect to the true you, both books will teach you we are the light, read both over & over, for those who want to tap into energy of your true source these are a must
A truly amazing spiritual guide that I would refer back to - By: Magdalene C, 18 Aug 2007 I have been reading quite a number of self-help & New Age book lately, & this has got to be one of my favourites that I have to keep it with me for further reference!
Before reading this book, I have read a lot of Doreen Virtue's books. I genuinely like them very much. And as I am in this side of the planet, I thought I should read something by Diana Cooper as well. But I was skeptical, for when I went to bookstores, Virtue's books took up most space, so I opted for a non-angel themed book.
The book summarises alll the most important spirtual principles. In a clear & warm tone, Cooper explained each of them with examples & suggestions on how to live by them. And while I love most of my New Age or angels books, this is the book that I turned back to for reference. I am surprised that this is not as popular as some others.
I truly love this book. I regard this as somewhat a "bible" to refer to. After finishing the book, I am tempted to move onto other Cooper's books as this is so good.
