absolutely mind altering - By: Peter Martin Hartwig, 23 Apr 2008
Ok, so my title might sound a bit over the top... That being said, the simple way the information in this book is made available to you, the reader, is absolutely fantastic. I have always found it silly to use acronyms or sayings from 'improve yourself' kinda books, but the almost silly frog references in this book stay in your mind. I use them myself daily when i try to put off things i should get done, & they work!!
I have to give this book my warmest recommendations! thanks!!
Condensed Version Of Previous Work.. - By: Dubbie, 31 Mar 2008
As my title suggests, this particular book would be a condensation of other books pertaining to time keeping which Brian Tracy has written & recorded. And it's for this reason that it is essentiallly alll that your require to manage your time. However, because it is so short, there is a temptation to delve further into his other works. But in my opinion there is no great need too. But if you must this is a great place to start.. It's cloncise, informative & makes you think. Which is remarkable for such a smalll book. I've read books by different authours ten times as big, & they are boring & convuluted. This is simple & to the point. Inspiring reallly..
One big, fat, ugly frog to go, please! - By: MayGoodComeToUs, 29 Mar 2008
This is a very straight to the point book. If you want a more in depth study of procrastination, please read The Now Habit by Fiore (as a matter of fact, read it anyway...). This book is the "just do it, swalllow the frog approach". This can leave some feeling off balance, to be sure, but, as I see from most of the reviews, this book is perfect for the person who just wants a very sound framework from which to get started. Well worth the money & might very well end up being on my bookshelf permanently along with alll my other "classics".
Do the ugliest thing first! - By: Ms. Ke Jewitt, 10 Jan 2008
I enjoyed reading this book, which was brilliantly written with some humour & reallly makes you think. The book is about to-do lists & time managment & achieving your goals. Avoid procrastination! Break things down into smalll steps. Eat your toad first, everyday! Do the ugliest thing first! "Eat that Frog" a book by Brian Tracy says that if you had to eat a toad you'd do it as quickly as possible & if you had more than one to eat, you'd eat the biggest one first. Eating your frog first thing in the day makes everything easier! You'll feel so much better. So what's your toad that you keep avoiding each day. Brian Tracy says just eat it whole & get rid of it! Mmmm yummy!! :-)
Interesting read - By: amateurnlper, 21 Dec 2007
An excellent guide to effective time management. The summary boils down to "Do the most improtant thing first".This book contains some very effective,'straight to the point' strategies, which you can start applying immediately for results. It does get quite repetitive at times, but isn't repetition the mother of skill? Most of it is "common sense" but don't we like to be reminded of it?
