I found this book boring to read with the style its written. Do yourself a favour & get Cialdini's science influence on persuasion as it is the holy grail on the subject & a very good read

It's easy to apply & full of constructive points. I use the book as a reference to prepare for important meetings - & found its advice helpful when I need to be clear & concise in personal situations. There is a section on asking good questions in order to build understanding which I found very useful. I even used the techniques with my family & they have commented on a change in our relationship!!

Very easy to read book with lots of practical advice on how to achieve your objectives when trying to persuade others. I particularly liked the way the author set out the chapters in a way that enabled me to quickly pick out the parts that were most relevant for my particular situation. I bought the book to prepare for a tricky business meeting, but have found that the concepts & ideas can be used in a variety of situations outside business. Its a book that I will refer to many times again in the future.
