Can You Sue Your Parents For Malpractice? by Paula Danziger - By: , 10 Oct 2004
I reallly, reallly liked this book. I have enjoyed reading alll of Paula Danziger's books, apart from 'It's An Aardvark-Eat-Turtle World' & this one was great. It tells the story of Lauren, who is tired of her family because her older sister is totallly perfect, her younger sister won't stop telling jokes, her dad is incredibly strict & her mum is always applying to TV game shows. Lauren takes a law course to find out about her rights & meets Zack, who is nice, funny & very different to her selfish ex boyfriend Bobby. Unfortunately, he's a year younger than her. If you like other Paula Danziger stories, you'll probably enjoy this one which I thought was the best.

Funny and serious but amazing!!! - By: , 10 Mar 2002
Lauren is fed up. She has been dumped by her boyfriend because she wont go alll the way & things at home arent so good either. Her dad is too strict, her mom is trying real hard to keep everyone together, her little sister is struggling with growing up & he elder sister is hardly home which worrys Lauren because she is the only one she can confide in.
When Lauren meets Zach they click straight away. Hes funny, cute & likes Lauren but theres one fault, hes younger than Lauren & thats not alllowed. She sets out to keep her family together, ignore the teasing & stick with Zach. To find out if she is succesful read this book. You won't be disappointed
This is a funny, moving book. - By: , 21 Feb 2002
In this book, Lauren, the main character, is nursing a broken heart after her sixteen year old boyfriend dumps her. Her family are being reallly annoying, her younger sister is always telling jokes, her Dad is strict & mean, & her Mum is always trying to get on a quiz show. Also, her older sister Melissa is never at home.
But everything changes when she meets Kenny, an eight grader that Bonnie, her friend knows. They are both doing a law course at school, & they decide to date. The only problem is- Lauren is a whole year older than Kenny. When the teasing at school becomes unbearable, what will Lauren do?.
This book is outstanding, READ IT NOW!. (Age group 10+)
Paula Danziger has outdone herself yet again - By: , 01 Oct 2001
Lauren feels like she doesn't belong in her family. Her Dad is too strict & her parents are always arguing. The only person who makes her feel better is Zack. But Zach's an 8th Grader & Lauren's a ninth. That is not alllowed. She doesn't know what to do. Her old boyfriend wants her back & now she's lost her best friend too! What will she do????!!!
Teaches children how life is. - By: , 07 Dec 2000
I used to read alll of Paula Danziger's books when I was growing up. I found them amusing, the characters likeable but most of alll the lesson each story taught you. Her books inform you of matters your parents don't tell you, what your friends don't know. They were a talking point between me & my friends, we alll used to borrow them from the library & recommend them to each other. Can you sue your parents for malpractice is one of my favourites & I suggest you read it! I recently bought almost alll of Paula Danziger's back catalogue & I won't be at alll ashamed to read them on the bus!
