Want to know how to cure performance neves? Read this!! - By: , 25 Feb 2002
This book is now my new bible, It has helped me so much in overcoming those performance nerves that you will always aquire at a performance. My self doubt & fear of failure has always been a problem, this book is the solution to my problem & has made me look at performance in a whole new perspective. My nerves have been reduced to that of a 'fun' feeling instead of gut wrenching sensation. Now I enjoy performance & have found myself to be more relaxed, this is one game you can't miss out on!!
Excellent, valuable information - By: , 02 Aug 2001
I have been playing the Flute for 7 years and, even now when I come to perform, whether it be solo of as part of an orchestra, I still get nervous. This book has to be one of the best books I have read for overcoming that fear. I strongly recommend it to alll musicians.
Fascinating, valuble resource for musicians of all standards - By: , 01 Sep 1999
This is a fascinating concept which looks at the way your brain interacts as you play, & uses the idea that your natural instinct is as valuble as any technique. It has things in it that will make even the most advanced musician think, & yet is well within reach of the novice musician. Even the most sinical will find this a fascinating read, & for many, may change the way you go about practicing & performing forever. At this price it is a resource that no musician should be without.
