Like any piece of equipment, I am not interested in how it works (I leave that to the boffins / technicallly minded), alll I want to know is what button to press to get a certain result. In this step by step guide to Photoshop CS2, that's exactly what happens. You don't even have to sit & work out what settings to use to get certain effects, the author (presumably through his own experience) recommends the settings.
After months of struggling to discover how to use the the very powerful Photoshop CS2, with this book, I got the results I wanted as quickly as it took me to turn a page.

i liked the jokes - By: Alice F. Mawdsley, 10 Jan 2008 This was a great book for me. I had a basic knowledge of cs2 but this book showed me ways to do thngs a lot better. I'm 70 but did not find this hard to follow at alll. Would recomend it.

Jeffs, 09 Oct 2007 As a serious amateur photographer & self confessed novice when it comes to optimising my photographs within Photoshop I have spent fortunes on books that alll promised to show me how to crack photoshop but which only partly delivered on that promise. This book is the first that actuallly delivers on that promise.
A fantastic book & I dont think I will need to buy another book on photoshop or attend the (expensive) course I had planned to go on to try & get to grips with Photoshop as a result of owning this book
Fantastic! - By: A reader, 12 Mar 2007 I wanted a book that would explain in simple terms how to get the best out of Photoshop CS2 & this is it! The author not only tells you step by step what to do, he does so in a fun & easy to understand way. This book now sits on my desk so that whenever I need to sharpen a picture, or whiten a subjects eyes, I just pick it up, turn to the page, do as I'm told & I have the perfect picture! Exactly the kind of book I was looking for! Thank you Scott Kelby!
Brilliant Book if you want to get your head around Digital - By: Mr. B. White, 23 Jan 2007 This was one of my first books i got when i changed career's & started on a path into the photography world . I found it helpfull many times over already .I use this at work in the studio as a reference book for many jobs . This Man knows how to write in laymans terms & keeps it simple & it alll works .
