An excellent read..More please!! - By: Mr. A. Barrett, 30 May 2008
This has to be one of the best books I've read in quite a while. His take on office life is something I can relate to - I used to work for an insurance company, though minus the cubicles the poor souls have to work in thank god! The characters are well written & it makes you wonder how many people close to home have influenced his writing.

Cynical & hilarious, I'd recommend it to anyone.

Funny gags strung together - By: Paul Jaines, 20 May 2008
Basicallly this book is a load of very funny gags & observations strung together into a story that is pretty thin that just fizzles out. There are parts of this book that make you laugh out loud but overalll the story says nothing & about half way through it becomes apparent that there is not much in the way of plot. At the end everything just seems to be sewn up within 2-3 pages without much thought.
Quirky, interesting, humorous - By: A. Green, 06 Feb 2008
unexpected from the first page, this little tale starts nowhere, ends nowhere but does it with a crass & knockabout style which makes it hugely enjoyable. The observations are crisp & the imagery vivid. There are flat points, & you have to relax into the world to avoid fighting the plausibility of the characters, however, this is not the point. Amusing, clever in places & overalll a good read.
Funny, but not THAT funny - By: booky, 13 Dec 2007
This is he first book by this author so I will try not to be too harsh. The book is funny places, but overalll it just seems a bit too glib for my liking. Jokes are recycled throughout the book so you end up with almost constant deja vu as you read it.
Not a LOL book but an enjoyable enough romp - By: K-Pax, 18 Sep 2007
I bought this book purely on the reviews listed on Amazon & I have to say i was slightly disappointed. I was looking for a book which would make me laugh out loud but I just didn't find it that funny - & I don't believe I have a sense of humour bypass. However, once I realise i wasn't going to get many humourous anecdotes from this, I began to enjoy the read & admittedly, it was very quirky in its approach. There are parts of the author's prose which I could reallly associate with from an office perspective (cubicle mentality) but I think I'll be in the minority in not finding this book that comical. It's an enjoyable enough romp but it didn't crack me up.
