It's hard to believe that this is a first novel as it's such a beguiling story that seems to hook you at just the right points. In fact I can't remember enjoying a novel in this genre so much. It's both a hilarious portrait of Hollywood & very poignant reflection of love & the individual.

Like the best rom-coms "Imagine Me & You" is light yet hits you right in the guts too. I look forward to more from Billy Mernit.
