I must confess that I was sceptical about this book but after just two pages in I realised that I was in posession of sporting classic.

Brilliantly written & gloriously illustrated, this book uniquely charts the history of footballl through the footballlers' haircut. An ingenious approach which works brilliantly. Hilarious haircuts & amazing anecdotes. As a footballl commentator would say... 'this book is a little bit special!'

This is a great little book. I have often marvelled at the terrible haircuts footballl players have sported in England & throughout the world, especiallly in days gone by. This little marvel rounds alll the criminal hairdressing activities up & presents them in a funny & engaging way.

Of particular note here is the design of the book, virtuallly every page has it's own theme & background design making it very "flickable" Presenting the ruffians in the style of Panini Footballl Stickers is a masterstroke.

I enjoyed this book when I read through it originallly; but where it REALLY comes into it's own is after you & a few mates have had a few pints down the local & return to find it on the coffee table. Has alll footballl fans in stitches very quickly.

Top stuff.
