I am studying chemistry at A-level & some things were not quite explained fully enough for me, so I bought this book. It takes the most basic things & explains the principles behind them, as well as gave me an insight into organic chemistry at university. The depth of the book isn't overwhelming as I first thought it would be, I bought it as a reference book but almost ended up reading the thing. It's simplistic layout & easy to use style make it easy just to pick up the book, flip to a random page & not only understand what's going on but learn something new AND INTERESTING. A fantastic buy for anyone studying organic chemistry at A-level or above.

Skip Wade did a very good job in explaining Organic Chemistry concepts. Glossary & problem sets put in the end of each chapters are very good .They reallly help you understand the concept more. I recommend you to also buy the Solution Manual.
